Wolf Cooktop

Wolf CE365C/B

Model # CE365C/B

At 36 inches, the CE365C/B is Wolf’s widest radiant electric cooktop, five elements beneath ceramic glass in Contemporary trim, with controls printed into the black glass surface. Any flat-bottomed pan works on it, magnetic base or not, unlike the CT and CI induction lines Wolf also sells.

With five elements spread across this width, a technician benefits from knowing which specific element position is affected and whether it is weak, dead, or stuck on continuously — three different complaints pointing at three different parts, even though they can look similar from across the kitchen. The glass surface itself, cracked or chipped, is assessed separately from whatever the elements underneath are doing.

  • 36-inch radiant electric cooktop with five radiant elements beneath ceramic glass
  • Contemporary trim on black glass, with the controls printed into the surface rather than carried on a bezel
  • Works with any flat-bottomed pan, magnetic or not, unlike the induction lines

FAQ

Wolf CE365C/B FAQ

Position on the cooktop (front-left, back-right, and so on) plus the exact behavior — weak heat, no heat, or stuck on continuously — gives us enough to bring the right part on the first visit.

Not inherently more prone, but when the control board is the cause, it tends to affect all five elements at once rather than just one, which is a useful diagnostic clue either way.
