Wolf Range Repair

Range Repair, Done Right the First Time

Wolf dual-fuel, gas, and induction ranges combine a cooktop with a full convection oven behind Wolf's signature red knobs — so a burner that won't ignite or a fault code is diagnosed with the same precision as either half separately.

Because a Wolf range shares control electronics between its cooktop and oven cavity, a fault can originate on either side. On the gas or dual-fuel side, IGN (an igniter that clicks without lighting) is the most common range-specific call, alongside ERR 01 (a self-clean door lock fault) and ERR OC (display-to-control-board communication). On induction ranges, E01 specifically points to a key/control fault on the induction control panel. Oven-side faults like F1 (door lock) and F2 (over-temperature) show up on ranges too, sharing the same control platform as Wolf’s wall ovens.

Our technicians diagnose both sides in a single visit rather than treating the range as two unrelated repairs.

FAQ

Range Repair FAQ

Largely yes — the oven cavity is diagnosed like a Wolf wall oven, while the burner or induction side is diagnosed like a standalone cooktop, often in one visit.

Usually not — a worn igniter or clogged burner port is a targeted, affordable repair, which is what IGN typically indicates.

It indicates a self-clean door lock fault — don't force the door, let the oven cool and power-cycle before booking a technician if it persists.
