Four open burners share the 48-inch RT484CG with both an infrared charbroiler and an infrared griddle, from Wolf’s original R/RT generation — a raised control panel, individual spark modules and valve micro-switches at each burner, and no oven beneath any of it.
Having both a charbroiler and a griddle on one rangetop means two accessory sections that can fail independently of each other and of the open burners, so a complaint of only the griddle underperforming, with the charbroiler working fine, actually narrows things down well before a technician arrives. Each section runs its own dedicated burner and control rather than sharing hardware with the others.
