Four dual-stacked sealed burners and a dedicated wok burner make up the 48-inch SRT484W, the larger of Wolf’s two sealed-burner rangetops offered with a wok section. The wok ring runs on its own separate gas path and ignition, independent of the four standard burners.
A wok burner that will not light, while the open burners beside it work fine, points specifically at that section’s own igniter or valve rather than anything shared across the rangetop. Because the wok ring surrounds a deeper recessed area than a standard burner, debris and spills can also settle differently there, which is worth checking before assuming an ignition part has failed.
Key Features
- 48-inch sealed burner rangetop carrying four open burners alongside a wok burner
- Dual-stacked sealed burners intended to cover both a low simmer and a high sear
- Counter-mounted with no oven cavity, so there is no door lock or self-clean cycle to fail
- Separate wok burner section with its own burner and control
Most Common Issues on This Model
Burner will not light, or keeps sparking after the flame has caught
Burner will not hold a low simmer, or the flame lifts and yellows
Knob turns but no gas reaches the burner
Persistent gas smell at the cooktop — a safety call, not a routine repair
Wok burner will not heat, or heats unevenly across its surface
