Wolf’s sealed dual-stacked burners are designed to keep spills from reaching the burner base, but the burner caps, ports, and igniter still need periodic attention from regular cooking use. Removing and hand-washing the burner caps and grates every few weeks, and checking that the small igniter port isn’t clogged with debris, prevents the most common cause of weak or inconsistent flames.

Avoid abrasive cleaners on the burner caps specifically — they can affect the finish and, over time, the fit that keeps the flame pattern even. A soft cloth or sponge with mild dish soap is enough for routine cleaning.
