Wolf built the GR364G as a 36-inch range with four open burners alongside an infrared griddle, and unlike the Dual Fuel line it keeps gas on both sides of the appliance — the oven cavity is heated by a gas burner and regulated by an oven thermostat rather than by an electric element and a solid-state sensor.
When a burner on the GR364G clicks without lighting, the usual short list is a dirty or cracked electrode, a burner base sitting slightly out of position, a failed micro-switch at that burner’s valve, or a spark module on its way out. Wolf’s own service documentation for this generation walks through exactly that sequence. The infrared griddle is a separate heated surface with its own burner and control, and a cold spot on it is a griddle-side diagnosis rather than a cooktop one.
Taken apart, GR364G reads as GR for Gas Range, 36 for the cabinet width in inches, 4 for the four open burners and G for the infrared griddle.
