Wolf IR365TE/S/TH

Model # IR365TE/S/TH

Wolf’s IR365TE/S/TH puts five induction elements on a 36-inch glass induction surface over an electric convection cavity. Induction heats the pan rather than the glass, which is why a cooktop that seems to have stopped working is sometimes a cookware problem rather than an appliance one.

The single most common non-fault on the IR365TE/S/TH is cookware: induction needs a magnetic, flat-bottomed pan, and a warped or aluminium pan reads exactly like a detection failure from the cook’s side. If a pan that used to work suddenly is not recognised, that is a different story and worth a visit.

Read the number back and it describes the appliance: IR for Induction Range, 36 for the cabinet width in inches, 5 for the five induction elements and S/TH for a stainless front with Tubular handles.

Key Features

  • 36-inch induction range with five induction elements
  • Electric convection oven below the cooktop, with no gas supply to the appliance
  • Per-element pan detection, so an unrecognised pan and a failed element look alike from the front but are not

FAQ

Wolf IR365TE/S/TH FAQ

Most often the pan did — induction bases warp and delaminate with time, and a base that no longer sits flat loses contact with the sensing field. If several pans stop being recognised on the same element, that points at the element instead.

No. The IR365TE/S/TH is electric throughout, cooktop and oven, so there is no burner, igniter or gas valve in it at all — which removes a whole family of faults that gas and Dual Fuel ranges can have.
