Wolf Range

Wolf R366

Model # R366

Laid out with six open burners across a 36-inch top, the R366 is an all-gas range. Its cooktop ignition runs through a spark module feeding an electrode at each burner, and each burner valve carries its own micro-switch that tells the module when to spark.

When a burner on the R366 clicks without lighting, the usual short list is a dirty or cracked electrode, a burner base sitting slightly out of position, a failed micro-switch at that burner’s valve, or a spark module on its way out. Wolf’s own service documentation for this generation walks through exactly that sequence.

There is no mystery in the model number: R for the original professional gas range line, 36 for the cabinet width in inches and 6 for the six open burners. That convention has barely changed since: Wolf still spells the same charbroiler, griddle and French top options the same way on its current ranges and rangetops.

FAQ

Wolf R366 FAQ

Before anything else, if you can safely reach the supply valve, shut the gas off, leave the burners and any electrical switches alone, ventilate the room and call us. A gas smell is a safety call, not a routine service booking.

Usually yes. On a gas Wolf oven of this type that is a thermostat calibration matter rather than a failed part, and it is a straightforward adjustment once a technician has verified the actual cavity temperature.
