What 0630 Means

The auxiliary double line break is a further disconnect relay on the M Series relay board covering the secondary loads rather than the main bake and broil banks. Wolf's M Series Troubleshooting Manual records 0630 when that relay is sensed as closed while the control has it commanded open. Note the priority 3 rating - lower than the main bank DLB problems, but still a disconnect that is not disconnecting.

Common Causes of 0630

  • Auxiliary DLB relay contacts welded closed
  • A relay board sensing problem on the auxiliary channel
  • A short on one of the auxiliary loads holding the sensed circuit made

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try

Power down at the breaker and note anything on the oven that has been behaving oddly - a light that stays on, a fan that keeps running - since the auxiliary bank covers those secondary loads.

⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That

  • Even at priority 3 this is a relay that will not open, so the order is power off at the breaker, then diagnosis.
  • The auxiliary bank shares the relay board with the heating circuits, which puts it firmly in line-voltage territory.
  • Swapping a load - a light, a fan - because it will not switch off misses a relay upstream that is holding it on.

Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.

FAQ

0630 FAQ

Because the auxiliary bank feeds secondary loads rather than the main heating elements. It is still a stuck disconnect, just on a circuit that carries less.

Very possibly, and it is worth saying which load it is when you book - it narrows which channel on the auxiliary bank is involved.
