Two ovens share one control on the DO30U/S, but each cavity keeps its own heating element, so a failure in one usually stays isolated to that cavity while the other keeps working normally — a useful detail when describing the problem over the phone. What is not isolated is the shared board itself: a handful of double-oven-specific codes, including a LOWER RELAY reading, exist precisely because one relay board is doing double duty for both cavities.
When only the lower cavity quits, we still check whether the problem is local to that oven’s own sensor and element or whether it traces back to the shared relay logic, because the repair looks very different depending on which it is. Self-clean lockouts can affect either door independently, and neither should be forced open while the cavity is still hot.
Key Features
- Double-cavity built-in wall oven, with each oven independently controlled
- Convection heating system in each cavity
- Shared control board manages both cavities, including self-clean door locking for each
Most Common Issues on This Model
One cavity won't heat while the other works normally
Uneven baking in either cavity
One or both doors lock and won't release after a self-clean cycle
Display shows a numbered error code, including double-oven-specific codes like LOWER RELAY
