A Dual Fuel range pairs gas burners on top with an electric oven cavity below, and in our experience the two sides fail at noticeably different rates. Gas burner igniters see mechanical wear every time they spark, and burner ports collect debris from daily cooking — so ignition issues tend to be the more frequent call. The electric oven side, by contrast, more often shows up as a gradual temperature-sensor drift (baking results changing slowly over months) rather than a sudden failure.

Knowing which side is acting up before you call — cooktop or oven — helps our technicians bring the right parts on the first visit.
